Its been awhile!

Hello blogger-world! Its been a while, but I'm ready to start this back up! (If it ever really started is questionable). Needless to say, life is crazy-busy-awesome! Have I said how much I love my job? Working at Acumen Brands has been a complete blessing in so many ways! Two years ago, there were eight of us and my job in customer service related to only one of our websites, Scrubshopper. I can tell you alllll about the hottest scrubs around. Want comfort? They brought it to us in underwear and comfy tees... try Jockey scrubs! Want all the ladies in the office looking cute and fashionable? Definitely want to check out Urbane, our most popular Classic Crossover top and Drawstring Bootcut pants! But being the best in one niche just isn't enough...

Well, two years and 65 employees later, we are #winning with many different niche online stores. In attempt to update you on the last year of my life, let me just point out some of the awesome brands I am around each day!

Most recently, I have moved to a new house here in Fayetteville. You heard me, a HOUSE! With a real back yard and a real kitchen. In this kitchen, we already have *the* item, I've always wanted! Thankfully, I don't have to drop the dough on it for the time being. ;) With a new house comes... NEW ROOMMATES! I live with two other girls who are really awesome! One is a TCU grad who is now a strength and conditioning coach at Arkansas. Let's just say, she is proud to be a Horn Frog and would totally rock some of the spirited boots we sell at CountryOutfitter.com. My other roomie is still in school, studying something waayy to scientific for me... She has a bf and met him working at Home Depot. He is pretty handy and is helping us around the house by building a sweet patio and deck! He would probably appreciate some of the goods we have at Toughweld Workwear, like some Carhartt pants or Georgia boots. Along with us 3 girls, we have 3 dogs. Yep, our house is like a zoo. Lets just say that dog and chew toys get demlished really quickly. Good thing we sell those too! All of the dogs get along and having a lot of fun playing together, but we still have to keep a tight leash on the gang. There were definitely concerns (on my part) about if the living situation would work out. Mostly, because I really have enjoyed living by myself the last two years. Things were easy that way, but you know what they say "little risk, little reward". Needless to say, I took a chance and so far its paying off! :)

[Side note: as I am typing this I am watching the Lifetime show, Dance Moms. Wow! Seriously? Those are some big personalities, and thankfully, we have a store for them too. All Around Dance, selling every item Capezio offers, and some other top-of the-line dance brands. Pretty exciting, right? Wish I had this back in my dancin' queen days. Well, since I'm talking about dance moms, lets not forget those baseball dads! We have a everything Lil Jr. needs to hit a home run and be the next Barry Bonds, san the 'roids. Practice makes perfect and we have everything you'll need to gear up for baseball season. Maybe your child isn't the all star athlete, and they are more the artsy-fartsy type. Never fear, The Ruby Canvas is here! With all of the art supplies you'll need to be the next Picasso.]

Enough about the grown kids, all my friends are currently in the getting married and having babies stage. Thankfully, I have a great source for some cute, monogrammed baby gifts. All I know, is that when that time comes for me, we are gonna have to have a bad-a  diaper bag, perfect for game day!

This weekend, I am heading home for the Arkansas vs. Alabama football game with some friends. I'm so pumped for the weekend tailgating with the fam! But before all the fun, I have to make the long trek home. I'm sure we will pass many 'a huntin' land on the way home, if only I could tell them about MusketCreek so they could get all the gear they need to be prepared for hunting season's opening day.

Well, I think I have managed to catch ya up on my life and fill you in on all of the hustling and bustling activity at work and I'd probably win some award for having the most links in a single post. :)
